Athlete-owned and Mission-driven

We started Ignite Performance in 2022 because we believe everyone deserves the confidence and resilience to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. We’re a team of former athletes and certified mental performance coaches. We know what it’s like, because we’ve been there. We’ve faced pressure, setbacks, injuries, and doubt, and we’ve seen firsthand how the right mental tools can change everything. Since launching, we’ve reached over 10,000 people, coached over 400 athletes, and worked directly with over 30 teams to strengthen their mental game and unlock what they’re truly capable of.

Coach Marcella

Marcella Swatosh is a co-founder of Ignite Performance Consulting. A former college basketball player and a seasoned educator, Marcella has spent over 30 years leading in classrooms and at the district level—as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and statewide mentor coordinator for new principals. She blends competitive grit with deep compassion to help others perform at their highest level.

After decades of guiding students, educators, and leaders, Marcella now focuses her expertise on coaching athletes and professionals to master the mental game, build elite habits, and lead with vision and purpose. Known for her energetic and grit-centered approach, she pushes others to raise their standards, own their mindset, and pursue excellence without compromise. For Marcella, performance isn’t just a skill—it’s a way of life.

Coach Reagan

Reagan co-founded Ignite Performance, and it started with a hip injury. She got hurt playing the sport she loved. The hardest part wasn’t the recovery, it was the mental battle that came after. She lost her confidence, her identity, and eventually her sports career, not because of her body, but because of her mind. Nobody taught her how to come back from that. So she built Ignite to be what she didn’t have: real tools to rebuild, refocus, and rise, for athletes in the fight she once was.

Today, Reagan works as an elite mindset coach helping athletes, student leaders, and high-achieving professionals think sharper, execute under pressure, and turn potential into power. She holds dual degrees in Economics and English (4.0 GPA) and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She’s a Mental Performance Mastery Certified Coach, a multi-time national competition winner in leadership, business, and public speaking, and has delivered keynote talks and workshops to audiences of over 5,000 people.

The credentials matter. But what matters more is this: she knows what it takes to rebuild something pressure and doubt once tried to take from her, because she’s lived it.
